Mosaic

WHAT WE ORDERED:
  • Crispy Calamari
  • Mixed Green Salad with house balsamic dressing
  • Roasted lemon chicken
  • Fabulous filet mignon, medium
  • Creme Brulee
HE SAID: I thought the filet was well-prepared and I enjoyed the gorgonzola that was placed on top. I am usually not a fan of balsamic dressing but liked this one. The calamari was served in a unique presentation- there was no dipping sauce but was drizzled with a beurre blanc and accented with capers.

SHE SAID:  It is all about presentation at this place. If there was ever a meal worth taking a picture of before eating, this was it. The chicken came bone-in and was tender but could use a bit more flavor. I was disappointed with the potato pairings. The creme brulee was prepared tableside and was the best I've ever had.

TAKE OUT: The restaurant has great ambiance and feels like an art museum with the glass blown ceiling sculpture in the front and the decorative, curved wood wall in the back of the restaurant. The service was wonderful (our glasses were never less than half empty) and the prices were reasonable compared to the food quality. The creme brulee is a must-have.
